Argemis Colome, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade County Police Department, said Pacheco, Garcia-Gonzalez and another man stole $40,000 worth of goods from a warehouse for Starboard Cruise Services in the 9000 block of Northwest 112th Ave just before 4 a.m.

Colome said Doral police officers were in close proximity of the burglary and spotted the three men fleeing the area at a high rate of speed in a black Lincoln Navigator.

As Doral police officers pursued the men, the Navigator crashed and caught fire in the area of Northwest 74th Street and Northwest 114th Avenue, Colome said.

A perimeter was set up in the area and Pacheco and Garcia-Gonzalez were taken into custody, Colome said. The third man remains at large.

Police said jewelry and electronics were found inside Pacheco and Garcia-Gonzalez's car.

No one was hurt in the crash, police said.
