OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – A man walking along the shoulder of Interstate 95 in Oakland Park was struck and killed by a passing car early Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Lt. Alvaro Feola said Carlo Ullysse Jr., 27, of North Lauderdale, was walking near the Commercial Boulevard exit about 6:30 a.m. when he was struck by a car.

The driver of the car did not stop to help Ullysse, Feola said.
Paramedics pronounced Ullysse dead at the scene.
Troopers did not have a description of the driver or the car.
