MIAMI – Miami police investigated after a suspicious package was found late Wednesday at the Miracle Marketplace shopping mall in the city's Coral Way section.
Kiara Delva, a spokeswoman for the Miami Police Department, said the package was found just before 10 p.m. on the fourth floor in the shopping center's parking garage in the 3300 block of Southwest 22nd Street.

Delva said the package was "rendered safe" by the department's bomb squad just after 11 p.m.
Police at the scene said a security guard alerted authorities after the guard discovered a "metallic object."
