FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Crews were digging to replace a storm-water pipe on Thursday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale when the operator of a machine drove it into hole.
At first glance, the scene appeared to be a sinkhole at West Las Olas Boulevard and Southwest Ninth Avenue. But it wasn't.
Workers were able to pull the machine out, but not before a local bar snapped a picture and shared it with the caption, "Who needs a beer?"
