MIAMI – Just as warm and friendly as he appeared to be during Wednesday's night Miami Heat game, Adrain Mato had nothing to say Thursday as he bonded out of jail.
Mato, 23, refused to explain what caused his erratic behavior at the American Airlines Arena.
Cellphone video shows Mato losing it on fans and then attacking the police officers who were there to remove him. During the scuffle, Mato and the officers fell down several rows of seats.
Mato faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, disorderly conduct and disorderly intoxication.
During his court appearance, Mato told Miami-Dade County Judge Renatha S. Francis that he was in Miami visiting and planned to leave Sunday.
