PALMETTO BAY, Fla. – A man has died after he got pinned between a commercial box truck and a pickup truck Tuesday morning in Palmetto Bay, authorities said.
The accident was reported in the 17000 block of Southwest 78th Avenue.
Sky 10 was above the scene at 10 a.m. as a yellow tarp covered the area between the two vehicles.
According to Miami-Dade police Detective Argemis Colome, the victim was loading empty boxes into the box truck when it began to roll and pinned him against the pickup truck.
Colome confirmed the victim, identified only as a 53-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
