LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A Lauderhill elementary school was evacuated Wednesday morning a small fire started in a bathroom, firefighters said.
Staff at the Endeavour Primary Learning Center on Northwest 56th Avenue put out the fire before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters said the school was evacuated because of the large amount of smoke the fire caused.
No injuries were reported, but one adult was treated for an asthma-related attack during the fire.
The cause of the fire wasn't known, but the state fire marshal is investigating.
