Lockdown lifted at Broward College after unfounded report of gunshots fired

SWAT called after shots heard near Broward College

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Broward College was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon after possible gunshots were heard near the Pembroke Pines campus.

The lockdown was lifted hours later after police found no evidence a weapon had ben fired.

Sky 10 was over the campus where police were seen investigating the report at 7200 Pines Boulevard.
