Bomb threat reported at Boyd Anderson High School

Search reveals no threat, officials say

Broward Sheriff's Office officers are investigating a bomb threat made at Boyd Anders High School on Tuesday morning.

LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office deputies have given the all-clear after a bomb threat was made at Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes on Tuesday afternoon.

Students were evacuated to a nearby football field and could be seen sitting on bleachers as Broward Sheriff's office officials searched the school.

Nearby Lauderdale Lakes Middle School was also evacuated and searched as a precaution.  

After a search of both schools BSO found nothing and gave an all-clear signal, officials said. 

Nearby Oriole Elementary School was also placed on a modified lockdown.

On Oct. 3, a bomb threat was reported at Lauderdale Lakes Middle School, resulting in several surrounding schools, including Boyd H. Anderson High School, being evacuated.
