2 men break into Walgreens in Davie, steal medication

Police say men pried open front door, used hatchet to enter pharmacy area

DAVIE, Fla. ā€“ Police are trying to identify two men who burglarized a Walgreens pharmacy in Davie, stealing medication from locked cabinets.

The robbery was reported early Wednesday at the Walgreens on University Drive.

Davie police said the men pried open the front door and used a small hatchet to break into the pharmacy area. The men got away with numerous bottles of medication.

Surveillance video showed that one man was wearing gray sweatpants and a black hooded sweatshirt, and another man was wearing a New York Mets jacket.
