Florida Keys man accused of burglarizing bulldozer leaves wallet behind

Deputies say Mark Moses, 65, had 'no memory' of what happened

BIG PINE KEY, Fla. ā€“ A Florida Keys man accused of burglarizing a bulldozer was arrested Thursday morning after he left his wallet behind, deputies said.

The owner of a bulldozer company in Big Pine Key called the Monroe County Sheriff's Office to report that someone had damaged a piece of equipment. He said the windshield and both mirrors had been broken, but he found a brown wallet, a pair of shoes, spilled beers and cigarette butts inside the bulldozer.

When deputies opened the wallet, they found the identification of Mark Moses.Ā 

Deputies met with the 65-year-old man, who admitted to entering the bulldozer overnight. Deputies said Moses identified the shoes and wallet as his, but he said he had "no memory" of what he did.

Moses was arrested on felony counts of burglary and property damage.
