Fugitive sought in Miami Gardens human trafficking case

2 victims held against their will, offered for prostitution

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens police are asking for the public's help in locating a fugitive connected to a human trafficking case.

Johnnie Randell Wilson Pigatt, 32, fled a Miami Gardens home when officers arrived to investigate a report of victims being held against their will.

The victims allege Randell offered them accommodations after they were released from a rehabilitation center in Palm Beach County.

Once at the home, the women were not allowed to leave the premises. 

Two other subjects, Destinee Thompson, 21, and Courtney Robinson, 25, allegedly used the Backpage website to offer up both victims for prostitution.

Thompson and Robins were detained by Miami Gardens police, while Pigatt was able to escape.
