PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. - A man attempted to lure two girls Monday afternoon in Pembroke Pines, and police believe it may be the third incident involving the same man.

The man approached the girls in the area of Northwest 85th Avenue and Northwest Sixth Street, told them he was lost and asked to use their cellphones for directions, police said.

The girls did not give the man their phones and walked away, police said.

Police believe the man may be the same person who attempted to persuade girls to get close to his vehicle and give him directions to Sawgrass Mills Mall.

The girls in the latest case told police that the man  matched the composite sketch in a press release issued last week.

The man was last seen driving a newer-model, four-door white Mazda 3, with tinted rear windows, and untinted rear windows.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pembroke Pines Police Department at 954-431-2200 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
