MIAMI – Police are searching for a man who is suspected in a robbery that was reported at student housing at Florida International University's Modesto Maidique campus.
A notice was sent to students Tuesday asking them to notify FIU police if they see Donald Allen, who was seen on campus earlier in the day.

Police said he committed a robbery at the dorms Nov. 16 and has been known to stay with a friend in the Lakeview North dorms.
Allen is not currently registered for classes, authorities said.
Police do not believe that Allen poses a danger to the community, but they urged students not to approach him but to call police if they see him.
