Man steals gun from unlocked car in Hollywood

Surveillance video shows man wiping down car before pedaling away on bicycle

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Police are trying to identify a man who stole a gun from an unlocked car last month in Hollywood.

The burglary was reported early in the morning June 6 at 3318 Cleveland St.

Surveillance video shows the man opening the unlocked driver's side door and rummaging through the car before removing a gun from the glove box.

The man can be seen wiping down the inside and outside of the car before pedaling away on a bicycle.

Police believe the man was going from house to house checking for unlocked vehicles.
