NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – A 59-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after he raped a child, North Miami police said.
Cesar Perez is being held in jail without bond on one charge of sexual battery on a minor between 12 and 16 years old.

He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at about 2 p.m.
According to an arrest affidavit, the girl told police that Perez had sex with her three times, most recently at a hotel in the summer. She said the other two incidents took place at Perez's house on the living room and in his guest bedroom.
Police said Perez admitted that he went to the hotel with the girl, who is now 16, but he denied having sex with her.
