According to a Boynton Beach police arrest report, officers went to the Homing Inn after receiving an anonymous call about someone using and selling drugs in one of the rooms.

When officers arrived, they said they found two other women in the room and a girl asleep in the bed.

Police said the room was covered in clothes and dirt, and officers noticed glass pipes scattered throughout the room. Police said there was little food in the room, except for a bowl of rotten noodles and meat on the counter.

One of the women told officers that she, Martinez and their boyfriends were using the room to cook and smoke crack cocaine, the report said.

An investigator from the Florida Department of Children and Families was called and interviewed the girl, who had a cigarette burn mark on her right arm, police said. She told the investigator that Martinez burned her with a cigarette because she "was in her way," the report said.

Police said Martinez confessed to smoking crack cocaine in the room, claiming that she only had the room for one night, but a receipt showed that Martinez had been there for five days. Police said Martinez denied doing drugs around the girl.

The relationship between Martinez and the girl was not revealed in the redacted report.
