TAVERNIER, Fla. — A 17-year-old boy called 911 to report that a man who had threatened him with a rock was following him on Wednesday in the Florida Keys, according to deputies.
Deputies identified the man as Colin Peter De Verna and arrested him on Wednesday on U.S. 1 in Tavernier, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Verna, 62, faced two felony charges: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated stalking, according to inmate records.
