MIAMI — A man kissed his Tinder date goodbye at his luxury high-rise in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, not realizing that he was also kissing two of his watches goodbye ― including a $37,000 Rolex, according to police.

Authorities said the crime happened early Sunday morning after the victim brought Alexia Jocelyn Flores, 24, of downtown Miami, back to his unit in the Panorama Tower skyscraper, located at 1100 Brickell Bay Drive, after their dinner date.

Miami police said the two “spent several hours drinking together” and the man eventually asked Flores to leave at around 2:30 a.m.

Authorities said as the woman got dressed in the bedroom and bathroom, the victim remained on the couch.

An arrest report states that surveillance video shows the victim “escorting (Flores) to the elevator, where they kissed goodbye.”

“Upon returning to his apartment, he discovered that two watches were missing from the nightstand beside his bed,” the report states.

Authorities said he tried to contact the Uber driver he had arranged for her “and discovered that she had blocked him.”

Police said they spotted Flores on Wednesday in the area of North Miami Avenue and 21st Street in the Wynwood neighborhood and taken to the downtown police station for an interview.

“(Flores) recalled meeting the victim through tinder, going to dinner, and returning to his apartment,” the report states. “She stated that she believed she had been drugged and could not recall what happened afterward. She denied taking the watches. No police report concerning her allegation was identified.”

Detectives arrested her on a grand theft charge.

As of Thursday morning, Flores was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $7,500 bond.
