WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A driver was injured after their car was hit by a Tri-Rail train at a crossing in West Palm Beach.
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Banyan Boulevard crossing.
Video shot by a witness shows the southbound train slowly approaching the car while it was partially sitting on the tracks.
According to Tri-Rail, the train was traveling at 8 mph when it hit the car.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
There is no information on why the car was stuck on the tracks.
