MIAMI - Health inspectors with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported finding flies, dried food waste, and roaches onboard the Carnival Cruise Lines' Fascination.

The Fascination scored an 84 on the inspection, according to USA Today. Any ship scoring below an 86 is considered failing.

Health inspectors reportedly also found there wasn't enough chlorine at the ship's water park; the salad bar wasn't protected by sneeze guards; and, there was not enough lighting for cleaning in several food-related areas.

"In the past five years, no Carnival ship has failed a public health inspection and the fleet's average score during that time period is 97," said a Carnival spokesman to USA Today.

Carnival has requested another inspection.
