Employees arrived at work the following Monday to find that the crooks had cut a hole through the roof to enter the Groupe Logo warehouse at 1840 N. Commerce Parkway.

Detectives said the thieves cut a large hole through concrete and sheet metal to get inside. They said the crooks then disabled the alarm system, rummaged through offices and kicked their way into the back of the warehouse, where the merchandise was stored.

About $100,000 worth of Fred, Boeing and Tag Heuer sunglasses were stolen.

Detectives said the burglars took the security cameras and digital video recorder before leaving.

According to the BSO, the burglars stole two work vans from a neighboring business, Restoration 1, and used the vehicles to haul the stolen goods away.

The vans are believed to have been unloaded in the area of 9395 SW 40th St. in Miami before they were abandoned about 3 miles away on 74th Street.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Sgt. Jeff Mellies at 954-659-3531 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
