Woman posts YouTube video after barricading herself inside Pembroke Pines home

Denisse Muniz-Torres, 37, blames ex-husband, family for ruining her life

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. ā€“ An adult entertainer with a large following on YouTube posted a video Wednesday while barricading herself inside her Pembroke Pines apartment for several hours.

Denisse Muniz-Torres, 37, starts the video titled "The Truth: Are you happy now?" by saying, "I want to thank you for trying to ruin my entire life and I want to thank you for trying to take Maximus away from me -- the last thing that you know I have that would ever love me unconditionally."

In the video, Muniz-Torres references her ex-husband, Morlon Greenwood.

According to an arrest report, police were called to the woman's home after she pointed a handgun at her current boyfriend and told him to "get out of the house."

Police said they arrived at the Modera Apartments around 12:30 p.m. and convinced Muniz-Torres to allow two children to come out of the apartment. Officers said she initially wouldn't let her son come out of the home, but eventually let him go.

In the video, which has more than 34,000 views, Muniz-Torres looks into the camera and tells Greenwood and her mother, brother and sister that they have all "contributed to what is going to happen today."

"Are you happy that you have caused me everything ... and now there is a whole house filled with police officers because I'm not going to make it past today," she said.

According to the report, the standoff lasted for more than six hours before Muniz-Torres surrendered to police.

Detectives said the woman admitted to pointing the gun at her boyfriend because she was having suicidal thoughts. She also claimed that she wouldn't allow her son out of the apartment because she feared that she would never see him again, police said.

Muniz-Torres was arrested on charges of child neglect and aggravated assault without the intent to kill.

Records show Greenwood and Muniz-Torres were married in Houston, Texas, on Nov. 18, 2011.

Detectives said her boyfriend has become uncooperative and refused to provide a statement regarding the incident.
