AVENTURA, Fla. - Police arrested a woman for pick pocketing after she returned to the scene of the crime.

Luz Mery Munoz was arrested when she returned to an H&M store and was recognized by Loss Prevention as the same person who had stolen the wallet out of a woman's purse two weeks prior.

According to a report, Munoz was seen on camera by an H&M Loss Prevention employee allegedly standing behind the victim, reaching into the woman's purse and removing her wallet. Munoz was then see leaving the store with the property, but was not caught.

The victim was unaware that her wallet had been stolen until she went to pay for her merchandise. The victim then reported the incident.

On Oct. 24 Munoz returned to the H&M store and was recognized by the same employee who saw her on camera at the time of the prior incident.

Aventura police were called to the store and Munoz was detained.
