LAUDERHILL, Fla. – An investigation is ongoing after several people were shot in Lauderhill.
A total of seven people were shot in the incident that took place Monday night along Northwest 38th Avenue.
Officers responded after receiving multiple calls regarding an active shooter.
They arrived to find two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Soon after, officers learned five other victims arrived to area hospitals following the shooting.
All victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, evidence suggests multiple firearms were used in the shooting.
