Silver Alert issued for missing Tamarac man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease

TAMARAC, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for a missing 75-year-old man from Tamarac who was suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and is blind in his left eye.

A Silver Alert was issued for Harold Villieres on Tuesday.

According to BSO spokesman Carey Codd, Villieres was last seen around 1:30 p.m. Monday at his home.

Detectives believe he is driving his 2011 bronze Toyota RAV4 with Florida tag HYIG98.

Codd said Villieres was last seen wearing a baby blue shirt, blue jeans and grey sneakers.

He is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
