Detectives obtained surveillance video showing a white pickup truck towing a U-Haul double axle trailer leaving the area around the time the boy was struck.

Police said they would like to speak to the driver of that vehicle, and that they are only considered a person of interest at this time.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Homestead Police Department or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
