MIAMI – Authorities are investigating after two people arrived at a Miami-Dade hospital separately and both were suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to police, the first victim arrived at Jackson Memorial Hospital after he was shot in the leg Saturday evening.
That shooting happened near Northwest 17th Avenue and 68th Street, officers said.
Around 10 minutes later, a second victim arrived at JMH, though authorities did not provide any additional details on how or where that person was shot.
Police have not updated the status of either gunshot victim.
Officers have not determined if both victims were injured in the same shooting.
