DORAL, Fla. – Police have arrested two men for allegedly stealing over $46,000 worth of flowers from a flower company in Doral, authorities said.
According to the Doral Police Department, Aldo Martin Rodriguez Mendoza, 21, and Steveen Blandon Alvarado, 20, were arrested Tuesday morning after the two men stole different variations of flowers from the US Bouquet Company at 1500 NW 95th Ave.

Police said video surveillance captured the men stealing the flowers.
Investigators said Alvarado was a former employee of the flower shop and gave access to Mendoza.
Both men entered the back of the building five times between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on various dates, stealing $46,318.76 in flowers, authorities said.
During the course of a three-month investigation, police discovered several discrepancies in the US Bouquet Company’s financials.
Police say between May 28 and Aug. 28, the company lost $219,490, however, authorities say they have so far only linked the duo to the $46,000 worth of flowers that were stolen.
According to both suspects’ arrest reports, both Mendoza and Alvarado were shown footage from each specific date in which the flowers were stolen.
Authorities say both Mendoza and Alvarado admitted to being the individuals displayed on the video footage from surveillance cameras.
Both suspects were transported to the Doral Municipal Police Station and are facing multiple charges that include grand theft of over $100,000.
