New outdoor adventure park in Miami offers fun for everyone

MIAMI – Want to swing like Tarzan or Jane among the trees in a jungle-like setting?

Now you can, right here in Miami, and you can do it all at your own pace.

The new Treetop Trekking Miami is an outdoor adventure park that is sure to test your limits.

Local 10′s Alexis Frazier visited South Florida’s first aerial zipline adventure park to see what it is all about.

At Treetrop Trekking Miami, you’re sure to heighten your senses, quite literally. You’ll be out of your comfort zone and immersed in nature.

“It’s aerial obstacle courses mixed with ziplining included. It’s a lot more obstacle courses than ziplining,” manager Deyvi Bone said.

It’s basically a full-body workout in the air.

There are seven ziplines in total, and it’s all color-coded and based on difficulty level -- blue being the most difficult.

There’s even something in it for the kiddos, called Treewalk Village, which anybody can really enjoy.

What really gets people going and their hearts racing though is the discovery course.

“That one is more physically active and requires more strength,” Bone said.

“As you keep going, you keep challenging yourself, and you’re going to get used to it and you’re going to conquer your fears,” Bone said.

But before you can do that, you’ll have to suit up and complete a safety briefing.

If you’re ready to test your limits, you can do so any day of the week, expect Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
