MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – After a police pursuit ended with a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning at the Don Shula Expressway at Kendall Drive. Traffic slowed down in Kendall all the way past the Turnpike.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers first closed three lanes for the Miami-Dade Police Department response. The traffic backups continued all the way to the Turnpike even after the troopers reopened the lanes.
Police officers in Palmetto Bay started to follow a shooting suspect who was in a stolen car and refused to stop, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. The suspect crashed with two cars, police said.
No one was injured in the crash, and police officers arrested the suspect.
