2 Florida women become millionaires playing Lottery scratch off game

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Two women from Central Florida became millionaires this week after they each won $1 million while playing the 300X The Cash scratch-off game, Florida Lottery officials confirmed Tuesday.

According to Florida Lottery officials, Deborah Anson, 67, of Apopka, and Laura Frisone, 56, of Marco Island, both chose to receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $695,500.

Both women claimed their prize at the Lottery’s Gainesville office.

Anson purchased her winning ticket from a Circle K gas station in Leesburg, while Sprouse purchased her winning ticket from the Quick King Food Store in Summerfield.

Both retailers will receive $2,000 bonus commissions for selling the winning scratch-off tickets.

“The $30 game, 300X THE CASH, launched in September 2021 and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million!” the Florida Lottery said in a news release. “Additionally, this ticket is filled with more than 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.”
