2 killed, 1 injured in North Miami Beach triple shooting

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police blocked off a roadway in a North Miami Beach neighborhood Tuesday morning after a triple shooting that left two people dead and one critically injured.

A Local 10 News crew was at the scene as crime scene tape blocked off the area of Northeast 170th Street near 16th Avenue.

A command unit vehicle could be seen in the center of the crime scene.

“I don’t know he’s a good boy,” a man who identified himself as the uncle of one of the victims said. “Real good kid -- don’t bother nobody, don’t fight with nobody.”

Local 10′s cameras captured crime scene technicians taking photos outside of a home on the block, which they also entered. They were also seen taking photos of cars in the driveway along with clothes at the scene.

The medical examiner’s office later arrived to remove the bodies from the scene.

A neighbor told Local 10 that police activity in this area is rare.

“It’s surprising. Honestly, it’s super surprising because this neighborhood, I’m telling you, nothing ever happens here. It’s super quiet -- like this is out of the norm for here,” Faith Davis said.

No other details were immediately released by police.
