LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A woman was hospitalized Friday after she drove her SUV into a pond at a Lauderhill condominium complex, according to police.
It all happened at around 11 a.m. at the Manors of Inverrary, located at 4162 Inverrary Drive.
Police said divers were able to pull the woman, who was conscious and breathing, from the water and first responders took her to an area hospital.
Authorities didn’t elaborate as to the extent of her injuries or what might have caused her to drive her SUV into the pond.
Video from Sky 10 showed divers in the pond as well as a number of onlookers.
