HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Homestead police are investigating after a person was shot overnight during an armed robbery.
The incident occurred in the area of 600 SW 14th Ave.

According to authorities, the victim was shot in the chin and was airlifted to a local hospital.
As of Thursday afternoon, the victim was listed in stable condition.
Police said they are searching for two Black males involved in the robbery and shooting, one who possibly had dreadlocks.
Police said detectives are also working to find any possible surveillance video in the area that may have captured the incident or the people involved.
No other details were immediately released.
