MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police say their officers caught three crooks red-handed with burglary tools and people’s possessions at a self-storage facility, which led to their arrests Wednesday.

Authorities arrested Daniel Iglesias-Diaz, 26; Javier Perez-Socorro, 33; and Jayron Pimentel-Fernandez, 25, on charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.

According to police, the men were seen on surveillance video entering the Public Storage at 18400 NW 57th Ave. — in the Country Club area — at around 10:20 a.m., then later exiting with people’s stored items as police pulled up.

Police said the trio had burglary tools, along with plastic storage bins, backpacks and duffle bags “belonging to multiple victims.”

According to an arrest report, some of the property belonged to a family member of one of the responding officers. Police said another victim was at the scene and identified the property as hers.

All three suspects were being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of Thursday.
