Firefighters called to scene of house fire in Southwest Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in Southwest Miami-Dade on Monday.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the fire happened in the Kendale Lakes area of Southwest 45th Terrace and 128th Place.

A neighbor told Local 10 he had to wake up a family that was inside the home when the fire sparked and said smoke could be seen inside.

“Passing by we see the backyard in flames. We were ringing and knocking nobody opened and I can see the flames the fire is immediately bigger and bigger and I immediately I start to call to 911,” said Jacek Bogdanienko, a neighbor.

No injuries have been reported.

It is not clear how the fire started.
