MIAMI – A cruise passenger who disembarked at PortMiami is facing two felony charges after authorities said a search of his phone turned up two child sexual abuse videos Wednesday.

According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Police Department, customs officers detained Senica T. Trout, 46, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, after finding two videos on his phone of girls as young as 12 being sexually assaulted by men.

Trout’s occupation is listed in his arrest report as “EMT,” though it does not specify his employer.

The report also doesn’t specify which cruise ship Trout came in on.

Police said Trout was “cooperative.” A statement made to police was redacted from the report.

He was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $10,000 bond as of Thursday afternoon.

According to Princeton University, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials are allowed to search electronic devices without a warrant as part of a “border search exception” to the Fourth Amendment.
