Man injured in central Broward County shooting

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies swarmed a home Saturday morning following a shooting.

The shooting was reported shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of Southwest 21st Street.

Neighbors told Local 10 News reporter Annaliese Garcia that they heard four or five shots followed by screams.

According to BSO, deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded to the scene and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition has not yet been released.

BSO’s Violent Crimes and Crime Scene units are investigating the shooting.

No details about the incident were immediately released.
