“Allegedly Sir, you committed assault against a bus employee, allegedly you called her certain unsavory names, you threatened to shoot her and to F her up,” Williams told Lewis in court.

Lewis faced a charge of assault, a second-degree misdemeanor. Williams ordered the “highest level” of pre-trial release and ordered Lewis to stay away from the victim.

“Do not return to that bus depot,” Williams told Lewis. “Do not go back there ... no contact with her.”

County records show Lewis was at the Broward County main jail in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday afternoon. Williams set his bond at $10,000.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
