FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Tuesday.
According to police, the shooting was reported at 1:36 p.m. in the 5100 block of North State Road 7.

Fort Lauderdale police responded to the scene and found one victim who had been shot.
Police said an officer provided “tactical medical care” to the victim until Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue personnel arrived.
According to authorities, the shooter remained at the scene and was taken into custody.
No other details were immediately released.
