POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating after they say a child was found dead in Pompano Beach Friday afternoon.
BSO deputies said they responded to a medical call in the 600 block of Northeast 12th Avenue.

Upon arrival, authorities say they found a girl who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sky 10 flew over the scene where investigators were focusing on a home in the area.
Detectives say the investigation is active and no information has been released about who the victim is and how she died.
