MIAMI – Miami police arrested three people in connection to an alleged armed robbery that occurred over the weekend.
According to authorities, 19-year-old James Valdes, 23-year-old Kyjuan Hayes and 22-year-old Luciano Facundo approached the victim as he was walking outside the Stephen P. Clark Government Center located at 111 NW First St. in downtown Miami.

The suspects would knock down the victim, who said that he briefly lost consciousness before waking up on the ground, being kicked by the trio, an arrest report stated.
The victim told officers that at one point, Hayes pulled out a gun and demanded all the victim’s belongings, according to the report. One of the men said, “I should pop your a--,” according to police.
Police quickly responded to the area and located the suspects, but Valdes and Hayes took off running while Facundo stayed and was detained.
Eventually, the other two were found and taken into custody.
Using surveillance footage in the area and the victim identifying them, all three were arrested and charged.
