MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A 32-year-old man was arrested Wednesday, just over a week after he snatched a woman’s purse at a popular Miami-Dade strip club and got into a struggle with her over it, authorities said.

Senen Alejandro Caballero-Calzada, of Miami, faces a strongarm robbery charge.
According to his arrest report, the incident happened at about 6:20 p.m. on Nov. 25 at Booby Trap Doral, located at 5325 NW 77th Ave.
Miami-Dade police said the victim was working at the club and placed her bag on the bar, at which time Caballero-Calzada grabbed the bag.
Police said the victim was able to hold onto the straps and told Caballero-Calzada to give her the purse, but he refused.
According to the report, the victim slapped and kicked Caballero-Calzada during the struggle and security eventually got between them.
Police said Caballero-Calzada was still holding onto the victim’s bag as he was being escorted to the lobby by security.
The victim followed and another struggle ensued before she was able to get her purse back, authorities said.
Caballero-Calzada was then kicked out of the strip club.
According to the arrest report, Caballero-Calzada was detained at home Wednesday before being transported to the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Robbery Bureau where he invoked his right to counsel.
As of Thursday afternoon, Caballero-Calzada was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $7,500 bond.
