MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Three brothers with ties to Miami Beach and New York’s luxury real estate market face a barrage of state and federal charges in connection to sexual assault allegations dating back several years.
Twin brothers Oren and Alon Alexander, along with their older brother Tal, stand accused of exploiting their wealth and influence to target and victimize women. Two of the brothers appeared before a Miami-Dade judge Thursday, where prosecutors outlined the severity of the charges.
Oren and Alon Alexander, dressed in hunter green anti-suicide vests typically reserved for high-profile inmates, appeared in court on sexual battery charges stemming from a 2016 incident described by prosecutors as a “gang rape.” the Alexander’s attorney, alongside their parents, attended the hearing.

“This defendant has access to private planes, private boats, he is a flight risk,” prosecutor Natalie Snyder argued in court.
Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Mindy Glazer, who was bound by law to treat the charge as a dangerous crime, denied Alexander bond.
“Because it is considered a dangerous crime, I am required to hold you with no bond,” Glazer said, adding that a federal hold was also in place, stemming from a New York indictment.
That indictment accuses the Alexander brothers of sex trafficking offenses over an 11-year span.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the brothers “repeatedly, and violently, drug, sexually assault, and rape dozens of female victims.”
Morgan & Morgan attorney Carissa Peebles, representing the victim involved in the 2016 case, has filed a civil suit in New York.
“The defendants do not view women as human beings but rather as objects to satisfy their twisted, violent desires,” Peebles wrote in the complaint.
The victim, through her attorney’s at Morgan & Morgan, also issued a statement Thursday, which you can read below.
“I never thought I would have the courage to come forward, and for a long time, I felt like my voice would never be heard. But now, knowing that my story is being acknowledged gives me hope — not just for myself, but for others who may have felt silenced or powerless. If my decision to speak out encourages even one person to share their own truth, whether it’s about these brothers or anyone else, then this effort will have been worth it. No one should have to carry this burden alone, and I hope this serves as a reminder that justice starts with a single step forward.”
Court Proceedings Highlight Serious Allegations
While in court Thursday, Oren Alexander asked for leniency, citing his wife’s imminent due date with their first child. However, Glazer denied bond, citing the nature of the crimes and a federal hold.
“This is considered a dangerous crime,” Judge Glazer said. “I am required by law to grant the state’s motion for pretrial detention.”
Prosecutors allege that the brothers committed acts of sexual battery and trafficking over the span of a decade, with incidents reported as far back as 2016.
“These men used their fame, their money, and their power to create opportunities to commit sexual crimes,” Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said at a press conference Wednesday.
Details of Alleged Crimes
The charges stem from multiple incidents. One victim reported being lured to a Miami Beach home under the guise of attending a barbecue in 2016. Instead, she was assaulted by multiple individuals, including the Alexander twins and their cousin, Ohad Fisherman, who remains at large.
In another case, a victim described being incapacitated with drugs before being assaulted by Oren Alexander after a real estate event in 2017.
A third alleged victim recounted a 2021 incident where she was raped at Oren Alexander’s home after he confiscated her cellphone, claiming it was to protect the privacy of his “famous house.”
Federal Charges and Expanding Investigation
The Alexander brothers are also facing federal charges, including conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion. Tal Alexander faces an additional charge related to sex trafficking by force.
Federal investigators allege the brothers used drugs like cocaine and GHB to facilitate the assaults.
Neighbors near the Alexanders’ Miami Beach property reported suspicious activity, with numerous women seen arriving at the home under unusual circumstances.
Authorities praised the courage of the victims who came forward. “We thank the brave women who courageously stepped up,” Fernandez Rundle said, encouraging others to share their experiences.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, “Between at least 2010 and at least 2021, the Alexander brothers worked together and with others to repeatedly, and violently, drug, sexually assault, and rape dozens of female victims.”
Both Oren and Alon Alexander brothers are expected to appear before a division judge on Friday, where their attorney will advocate for their release, while Tal Alexander remains at the Federal Detention Center in Miami.
