MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Biscayne Boulevard is closed in both directions between NE 163rd Street and NE 172nd Street after a five-vehicle crash, police said.

The North Miami Beach Police Department is on the scene near NE 169th Street, and traffic is being diverted.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes while officers work the scene.
