MIAMI LAKES, Fla. — What started with tiny voices turned into an unforgettable night in Miami Lakes.

Kindergarteners from Bob Graham Education Center opened a council meeting with a proud performance.

Among them was the daughter of a Local 10 News producer.

And just when it couldn’t get any sweeter, the night took a heartfelt turn.

Beloved teacher Pablo Millares was surprised with a proclamation honoring his 36 years in the classroom as he prepares to retire.

The room filled with generations of students, past and present.

It was a sendoff for a teacher who helped shape an entire community.
