HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Hollywood Fire Rescue crews responded Wednesday morning to a fire at a commercial building in Hollywood that damaged a second-floor unit, officials said.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 5900 block of Funston Street after receiving reports of an outside fire.
When crews arrived, they found a working fire involving a second-floor unit in a building that contains commercial spaces, according to Hollywood Fire Rescue officials.
Officials said the business was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
Florida Power & Light was requested to respond to the scene, and a Hollywood Fire Rescue fire inspector was dispatched to investigate.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
