MIAMI — A portion of Brickell Bay Drive is closed following a crane collapse Monday morning, according to the Miami Police Department.

Police said Brickell Bay Drive is currently closed between Southeast 12th Street and Southeast 13th Street.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area, use alternate routes and expect delays.

Drivers should use caution and follow the directions of officers at the scene, police said.

No other details were immediately released.
