PLANTATION, Fla, — Plantation High School was placed on lockdown Thursday after a large fight and a report of a person armed with a gun, the Plantation Police Department said in a Facebook advisory.
Officers responded to the school at 6901 NW 16th St. and were actively searching the campus, police said.
They said a perimeter was established around the school, and no one was being allowed to enter or leave the area while the search was underway.
The police department did not provide additional details about the reported weapon or whether anyone was injured in the advisory.
